Vintage Kantha Cushion
Our Kantha cushions are made from vintage Kantha quilts which are made by stitching together flattened layers of old saris. They look like a kaleidoscopic with a collection of vivid colours and designs that make them resemble a patchwork. Each cushion cover is unique!
Each one is a one-off piece and they blend effortlessly into bedrooms or living areas creating a warm and lived in homely feel to the room. They blend perfectly with our Vintage Kantha Bangali Throws too! Feel free to pop into our store to browse our range of beautiful kanthas and kantha cushions.
Material: 100% cotton kantha with feather insert
Size: Various sizes available; we have in store 35x50cm, 55x55cm, 60x60cm and 60x80cm. Custom orders are also possible so please don't hesitate to contact us at studio@rachelelizabethinteriors.com to discuss options and pricing.

The Block Printing Process
The traditional process of hand block printing on textiles has been practiced in Rajasthan for around 500 years. A print starts with the design, drawn on paper and meticulously carved by hand into the wooden blocks by skilled artisans.
